No parent should ever receive the news that their child’s time is limited…

Jessica and Greg Walsh have two beautiful daughters, Teagan (5) and Quinn (4).

In 2018 while living in Texas, Teagan was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare very aggressive childhood cancer. Since the start, Teagan was classified as high risk, which meant a high chance of relapse. Her long battle with cancer began at the Texas Children’s Hospital where she received treatments of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. It worked, her scans were clean.

Then came her first relapse. After more treatments in Texas, and a clean scan, her parents decided to enroll Teagan for a clinical trial for neuroblastoma at New York’s Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center. Since Teagan already had her first relapse, there was now a higher percent for another relapse, so in January 2021 the family uprooted their family and moved to New York.

The plan for Teagan was to complete her second round of immunotherapy prior to starting the vaccine trail. Unfortunately, she relapsed for the second time. Teagan kept up her fight and began the new treatment plan; chemotherapy and radiation, followed by chemotherapy and immunotherapy. After months of treatment, Teagan’s scans came back clean. There was now renewed hope to begin the clinical trial.

In November 2021, after a week of tests and scans Sloan Memorial confirmed that Teagan relapsed for the third time. The cancer was relentless.

In February 2022, after two rounds of chemotherapy and radiation to her arm, and the removal of a lymph node in her groin, the doctors confirmed that her arm was clean but the neuroblastoma in her groin had increased in size.

The past few weeks have been like living through everyone’s worst nightmare. The Walsh family was told that Teagan’s cancer is progressing and that their time with her is limited. Teagan has fought so hard for so long. Jessica and Greg have done everything they can, but now it’s time for Teagan to rest her body.

Jessica and Greg have never asked for help, even during these dark times they are the nicest and most appreciative people I have ever known. The money raised here will be used to support the family during this difficult time and for the inevitable and heartbreaking costs to come.

(Teagan had a go fund me page in 2018 when she was first diagnosed, since four years have past, that page is no longer available for use. Please use this page to share her story and help this incredible family.)
