Hello, this is a picture of my beautiful, sweet daughter Katie Kathlene Feeney McQuaid. Katie passed unexpectedly at the age of 43. As a mom it is hard to imagine your child is no longer with you. In order to keep Katie's name alive at least while I am still of this world, we thought a scholarship given in her name would help us to do so.

Katie loved animals. Her heart had room in it for every animal she met. Therefore, a scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school students who will go on to continue their studies in animal care.

In order to award an endowment to a high school a recommended amount is $20,000. This would allow the school to award one thousand dollars to a student for years to come.

I know Katie was loved by many. It is my hope they will continue to show her that love by donating towards The Kathlene Feeney McQuaid scholarship fund.
