Honoring the Legacy of Brad Jackson
With heavy hearts and tearful eyes, we gather to mourn the sudden loss of our dear friend and Opelousas's ideal citizen, Mr. Bradford ("Brad") Jackson, owner of 24/7 Inspections.
His legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to our town will forever shine brightly.
Brad was more than just a citizen; he was a staunch advocate for hope and a visionary leader. As the loving husband to Cathy Hebert, a fantastic brother, and son, his impact extended far beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of countless individuals in our community.
His tireless efforts in beautifying our city, long before others recognized the urgency of environmental stewardship, are a testament to his forward-thinking nature.
Brad's passion for planting trees, advocating for historic preservation, and his instrumental role, alongside his wife Cathy, her fantastic team and the owners and co-sponsors, Tom, Charlotte and Chef Joe, in transforming spaces like 106 E Bloch St into community hubs, will forever be remembered.
Brad was particularly excited about the upcoming Hebert Dancentre performance. He envisioned this event as a catalyst for positive change, a celebration of our vibrant culture, and a testament to the potential of our downtown area.
In honor of Brad's legacy and his unwavering commitment to our community, any donations to the OGMLA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization will be dedicated to supporting the lighting and sound equipment for the the Hebert Dancentre performance on May 11th.
Your generous donations will not only ensure the success of this event but will also serve as a fitting tribute to Brad's vision of transforming our downtown
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has already reached out with offers of support. Your kindness and generosity are a testament to the enduring impact of Brad's legacy.
On behalf of Cathy Hebert, the Jackson family, and those of us that have worked along side Brad in his vision and initiatives, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your love, and your commitment to honoring Brad's legacy.
