https://www.facebook.com/davidsjourney12/ Hi my name is Racheal and I am fundraising to help pay rent, utilities and gas. Our son David, 12, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on February 19, 2021. He began chemo on March 4, 2021. On May 19, 2021 he had the tumor removed and had a rotationplasty on his left leg in Seattle. We were up there for ~12 days. The hospital paid for a total of 3 nights in a hotel which was great but Seattle is expensive. He had a revision surgery on June 16, 2021 back in Seattle. We are continuing chemo in Portland and have at least a few months left of that and a long while left with physical therapy and prosthesis fittings. Not to mention the cost of prosthetic legs. David chose this surgery so that he can run again and ride his bike. Those are each a different leg. As you can imagine, our time is devoted to David, his care and his younger brother, Daniel(8). We have both been unemployed due to the pandemic and can't even imagine how either of us could get a job having only 1 car and never knowing when we may have to go to the hospital and countless appointments. I struggle, as I think most people do, to ask for help but, I have had several people approach me about a go fund me so I decided to set one up.
