Help me get to my art residency in France

Hi there,

My name is Melissa Hammond and I am an award-winning emerging artist from Canberra, Australia.

I have recently been awarded an amazing opportunity to do a month-long art residency in France at the end of this year at the prestigious Château d’Orquevaux but need some help to actually get there.

You see, it’s been a really rough 9 years dealing with invisible disabilities and chronic pain from a car accident that has impacted my capacity to earn money and be in a position to afford this amazing opportunity. I’ve got a hard goal in front of me of raising $20,000 to pay for the airfares, accommodation, food, the art residency, art supplies, ergonomic assistance, medical treatment and physio training for the travel overseas…and did I mention, the dreaded Euro currency conversion. Yikes! It’s a steep climb but I am sure we can get there.
