Our friend Laine is facing a major surgery (a hysterectomy) and will be out of work for up to 6 weeks. During that time, they’ll receive 50% of their income for up to 3 weeks — or possibly none at all.

All while parenting two amazing kids and managing complex, chronic health conditions like ME/CFS, POTS, and Fibromyalgia.

That’s a huge financial gap for anyone. (especially a single parent with mounting medical needs.)

The last thing Laine should be worrying about while healing is how to pay bills, buy groceries, or afford prescriptions.

So let’s take that weight off their shoulders.
