Hello friends and family,
I am reaching out for assistance due to an urgent gum grafting surgery that I will be having on August 31st. I have genetic receding and thin gums across most of my teeth. The recession of the gums has escalated to the point of needing imminent surgery to repair the gum tissue. This procedure is to prevent tooth loss. The process will require about 10-20 days of light activity to recover and will likely take 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I will be sedated for the procedure. I am having to take off work for a few hours for the pre-op and several days for the surgery and recovery. I will be having a good chunk of my gums done but will require another surgery next year to graft the gums that are less severe because they cannot do them all at one time. The surgery, with the assistance of insurance, comes out to about $5,700. I would not ask for assistance unless it was truly necessary. With such a huge cost for this procedure, I cannot afford it on my own but I, also, cannot wait on it. If you are able and willing to contribute, I would so greatly appreciate the support for this surgery. Every little bit truly helps tremendously.
Thank you all so much for considering supporting me in my imminent surgery. I am very thankful for you all.
