Help Us Bring Our Dad Home

On July 10th, during an ICE raid at the Camarillo farm, our dad was wrongfully detained. He wasn’t the target of the operation, but he was taken anyway. Since then, he’s been transferred across multiple detention centers — even out of state — and is still not home.

The impact on our family has been devastating. Our mom is carrying the weight of it all while struggling with her health. My brother and I are trying to stay strong for her, but we’re tired, emotionally drained, and overwhelmed. His grandkids miss him. Our hearts are heavy. This pain ripples through our whole family and those closest to us.

Our dad has lived in the U.S. for over 25 years. He’s always done things the right way — working hard, following the law, and supporting us with everything he had. He has no criminal record. He was actively pursuing legal status and had a valid work permit. Yet, while others were released, he was not.

He’s never asked for anything — but today, we are.

Ayúdanos a Traer a Nuestro Papá de Vuelta a Casa

El 10 de julio, durante una redada de ICE en la granja de Camarillo, nuestro papá fue detenido injustamente. No era el objetivo del operativo, pero aun así se lo llevaron. Desde entonces lo han trasladado a varios centros de detención — incluso fuera del estado — y todavía no ha podido regresar a casa.

El impacto para nuestra familia ha sido devastador. Nuestra mamá está cargando con todo esto mientras lucha con problemas de salud. Mi hermano y yo tratamos de mantenernos fuertes por ella, pero estamos agotados, emocionalmente drenados y abrumados. Sus nietos lo extrañan. Nuestros corazones están rotos. Este dolor se siente en toda la familia y entre nuestros seres más cercanos.

Nuestro papá ha vivido en Estados Unidos por más de 25 años. Siempre ha hecho las cosas bien — trabajando duro, siguiendo la ley y dándonos todo lo que tenía. No tiene antecedentes penales. Estaba siguiendo el camino legal y tenía un permiso de trabajo válido. Aun así, mientras otros fueron liberados, él no tuvo la misma suerte.

Él nunca ha pedido nada — pero hoy, nosotros sí.
