What is Shower Chair?

Shower Chair is an hour long comedic play on the slippery road to finding identity and the mistakes and lessons that define young adulthood. Join writer and comedian Ben Fallaci as he gets clean, physically and metaphorically. Ben washes away his mess and gets vulnerable, taking his audience on a journey from rock bottom towards recovery and self care. Shower Chair is a personal, juicy, and hilarious play about the importance of living authentically. Where better to come clean than in the shower?

Shower Chair has been invited to perform at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Greenside Theatre from Aug. 2 to Aug. 24 for a total of 21 shows!

The Festival is world renowned for its accessibility and visibility. Thousands of storytellers get the chance to prove that they have a great story that can grow. Shows with Fringe roots have gone to places like Off Broadway, the West End, BBC, and Netflix.

This is an opportunity to help Shower Chair continue to grow as a story. I am asking for help to cover the below Fringe costs. When factoring in my budget, I've taken into consideration US dollar to GB pound conversion.

Shower Chair is about being honest and finding our most authentic self. By performing this show, I get to spread that message through self-deprecation and jokes -- and yes, even nudity! I appreciate any support that helps me continue tell this truth.
