One of the brightest souls ever to walk this earth - who touched the hearts of so many, transitioned from this world to the next way too soon. He was 19. Dakota Wester, as an upcoming music artist was influenced by lyrics and culture of modern day rap. He easily trusted that taking pills would provide an escape of the thoughts and emotions we all face within ourselves. Never realizing the dangers of counterfeit pills and the devastation of Fentanyl. That choice ended his life. That choice created a ripple effect that led to the making of this film.
A documentary that shines light on the power of choices and influence. A film that will have impact on future choices being made by young adults that might take a drug, containing Fentanyl. Showing the reality of other lives like Dakotas that could potentially end up the same. Even if we save one life, then our message is being heard. With the support of the U of A and the opportunity for our film to be featured at The Loft, and in as many schools as possible we are looking for your support to help bring our goal of landing this film internationally. Our message is worldwide. You have an impact and a ripple effect as you in this world. Remember your divinity.
