The Hoogendoorn Family

Hi our names are Debbie and Rhonda, along with our group of very close friends of the Hoogendoorn Family. We would like to tell you a little bit about their son Conner. Conner has grown up with our kids..... ,actually it started with theWYFL,Whiteford football youth league In which Conner’s dad Eric and my husband Tim coached them along with some other dad’s who we now have formed a very close group of friends.

All of our kids all played sports with Conner who has played football basketball and baseball all through his years in school.

Conner is one to always have a smile on his face and to make anyone laugh. He lights up any room he is in! Conner is just 23 years old and had just moved to the Carolinas with his girlfriend Mallorie, they were starting new careers and were meeting new friends and exploring their new surroundings. Right before he left, which was about three months ago he started having stomach issues and then was having trouble eating. In this short time he has lost over 30 pounds. 30 pounds he could not afford to lose. He was finally able to get to a doctor and had tests run. On Thursday, October 6th. Conner and his family along with his girlfriend Mallorie received the challenging news that he has Stage 4 Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma that has metastasized. His challenging journey is just starting, having received this diagnosis Conner is unable to work at this time And they have moved home to start treatments in Ann Arbor. He has a long journey ahead of him and we are asking for any help for the family. This will help With Connors medical and living expenses and any unforeseen expenses that may arise. This is going to be a long costly journey and any help would Be greatly appreciated Along with prayers.
