The Castro Family

It saddens us deeply to say,

Our dear friend, Jacob Castro, has recently lost his mother. Marla Castro was a kind and beloved mother to her sons Jacob and Dalton and an incredible wife to husband James. She had a loving touch and influence in the lives of all those around her and will be deeply missed.

Marla is well known in the Stockton community for being her son's #1 fan on the pool deck. She was also the arts and craft hero for her very unartistic children and a cheese fanatic who would eat a single block of cheddar cheese on a whim. Most importantly, Marla loved her family with every fiber of her being and taught her kids that they can overcome any obstacle. 

The loss of Marla on May 22nd, 2021 was unexpected, and while the family grieves the last thing we want them to worry about is dealing with the upcoming expenses. We would like to allow her family the means to give her the memorial service she deserves and honor her memory. The family plans to return to her hometown of Bandon, Oregon to spread her ashes at Face Rock Beach and say their last goodbyes.

In lieu of flowers or cards, we are hoping friends and family will come together to help Jacob and his family through this difficult time. Any contribution to help ease the pain of this loss is welcome.
