AMARRAH WILL BEAT THE BEST'S

Donation protected
About 2 months ago, our precious little Amarrah went to the doctor for what we thought was a routine eye exam. After several visits with a retinal specialist, she was diagnosed with Vitelliform Macular Dystrophy also known as Best Disease. Best Disease usually cause changes at the back of the eye between the ages of 3 to 15, but does not usually affect vision until later on in adulthood. Unfortunately Amarrah is one of the rare cases where vision is affected early on. At only 9 years old, she has already lost permanent sight in her left eye and has to get injections in her right eye every 6 weeks. The injection therapy Amarrah is getting is experimental in nature because there is currently no treatment for this disease. We are hoping these injections will allow our little princess to keep her sight in her right eye while praying for a treatment to be discovered.

Amarrah's mom is active duty in the U.S. Army and has been serving over 11 years. She has deployed to Irag and Afghanistan defending our freedom. Let's join her in the fight for her princess's eye sight. In addition to the 2 hour trip Amarrah and her parents have to travel for treatment, and other modifications that is needed, she also has to start learning braille. Amarrah's mom has given herself selflessly to defend our freedom. In return, let's selflessly support Amarrah while she fights to keep her eye sight!
