Christian Hernandez, age 11, of Columbus, died Wednesday at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Please consider joining us to show love & support to the Hernandez and Medbery families during this difficult time. It is our hope that our community of friends and family will join with us in helping to raise money for funeral & medical expenses as this was an incredibly tragic, unexpected loss. We want their family to be able to grieve and continue to put their money towards monthly expenses while the rest of us step in to help with what we can. I will be collecting the funds raised and will ensure that the money is used to cover what they have already paid for medical bills or other urgent matters. As a mom myself, I know we would all do whatever we could to help another mama in need. This is our time to come together. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is Monday 4-7 p.m. at the Church. There will be a Vigil service 7:00 p.m. also at the church. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery. All CDC guidelines will be followed. Masks are encouraged.
Christian Hernandez was born January 16, 2009 in Grand Island to Echo Suy and Juan Hernandez Zacarias. He attended Shell Creek Elementary School where he was in the 6th grade. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Christian loved animals and playing Fort Nite with his friends. He was a great big brother.
