On Tuesday evening, September 9, my brother-in-law, Neal suffered a serious brain injury after a fall while working outside of his home that led to a brain bleed and required a craniectomy (a surgical procedure in which a portion of the skull is removed) to relieve the pressure on his brain. He is currently in the Trauma ICU being closely monitored under sedation. At this time, the full extent of his injury is unknown, but we do know that Neal is strong in his faith and is a true fighter! He is a strong, hardworking and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Neal is the most generous person I know - always the first to lend a hand and support someone in need. Now, he is the one who needs our help. We want to support Neal and Donna as they have a long road ahead of them with unknown financial burdens and to be able to ease the stress for Donna so she can focus on being by his side.

Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and love during this difficult journey. Neal has given so much to others throughout his life, and now we have the opportunity to give back to him.
