Hello, I’m Oscar garcia Jr. (Oj). I’m a nurse trying to help my dad in anyway possible,Recently my dad (63yrs old) had been having a chronic cough, slowed body movement and harder to write his name. An upper CT scan revealed a spot in his brain and lung. After talking to specialist and a full body MRI. Has now showed us that my dad has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Spreading to: Brain, spleen, gallbladder, adrenal glands, groin.

 He does not smoke.This news coming to us during spring break 23’. Any donations would be used entirely for medical purposes. 

***Update (1st days of school) ***

***my dad continuous to be healthy. Fought a post surgical brain infection for 6 weeks. My mom learned how to use a PICC line. His oncologist continues to call him an alien because of how great current treatment seems to be going. 1 $$$ pill a day so far. Cont with blood work and ct scans. with a pending pet scan here soon. now that he can drive he is almost back to his old self. I remind them to stay healthy so that one day other organs can possibly be tackled when necessary. Thank you all thus far for the support. ***

im never one to ask for help with anything, but my father deserves to be given a chance and a choice on where his journey should go. God knows he is one strong man alone, so together with his family and friends there is no limit to his strength.
