We found out that sweet, derpy Kevin has a tumor growing on his femur . Luckily, the tumor hasn’t metastasized... (At least from the x-rays they took last Friday).

But the surgery can't wait.

Kevin came into my life just over two years ago. He had a rough start—neglected, overlooked, and in need of love. When I rescued him, he was shy, unsure, and deeply in need of healing. He wasn’t even sure how to cuddle or receive affections. Since then, Kevin has blossomed into the sweetest, most loving companion. He’s goofy, loyal, gentle, and brings light to every day, not just for me but for everyone who meets him.

We’ve worked hard to give Kevin the life he’s always deserved. He finally knows what it’s like to be cherished, safe, and spoiled. That’s why this diagnosis is so devastating.

The treatments Kevin needs to have a fighting chance—specialist visits, imaging, biopsies, pain management, and possibly surgery or other interventions—are overwhelming financially. Unfortunately, this couldn’t have come at a harder time. Like so many, we’re facing tough economic challenges, but I’m determined not to let that stand in the way of Kevin getting the care he needs.
