Hi, my name is Anikó! I'm a 24 y/o trans girl living in Ecuador and I need help raising funds for my bottom surgery.

You may know me as Aniko_j, a trans content creator that for years has given visibility to the queer community here in South America and Spain. You may also know me from my community voice feminization classes or my streams where we talk and share our trans experiences.

For years, I've wanted to feel comfortable in my body, and although I have achieved a degree of that (thanks to HRT), there's still a part of me that needs to change for me to feel whole. I want to feel free in my body, to finally put an end to this dysphoria that day to day gets in my way of enjoying life. I write this in tears thinking about all the pain this has caused me, but I'm hopeful. I know a better future awaits me.

As you may already know, Ecuador is a third world country, and living here as a trans person has been quite challenging, not only due to the social circumstances but also due to the lack of trans healthcare. I've looked for local options, both private and public, but found that the only way I can get the help I need is abroad.

As for how the funds are going to be used, most of it will go to the surgery itself and the hospital stay, while the rest will cover plane tickets, food, accommodations, and transport.
