Stage 4 Gallbladder Cancer

My name is Lynnette Bailey, I have created this page to help my sister Lola Earney, and her husband, Scott, with medical expenses, food, gas, everyday bills, and End of Life expenses, as they were delt a devastating blow when Scott was diagnosed with cancer on the day before Thanksgiving.

When he went to the ER we thought it was his Crohns acting up again. We were completely blindsided by the possibility that it was cancer. We were told it was indeed cancer, but At that point we did not know the extent or type, just that it was cancer. This past week, we were told it is Stage 4 Liver cancer, having spread to both Lungs, Lymphnodes, several bones, in what amounts to a couple weeks. The doctor has told us there is no cure, only possibly extending life thru chemo. And only if his body can handle it. Before this diagnoses he for years has dealt with crohns disease, that resulted in an ileostomy that in turn sent his sugar out of control, causing him to no longer be able to drive an 18 wheeler. The Crohns already haven taken a toll on his body, makes us doubtful his body could even handle chemo. However, we are awaiting one more test result before He decides on if the chemo is a route he wants to take. We will support whatever his decision will be.

Lola works a full-time job, but over the years has had to take on different part time jobs, just to makes ends meet as Scott's body would only allow him to work part-time at best. She will need to be home as much as possible for the next few months, to help not only Scott, but the kids all come to terms with this devastatingly heartbreaking situation.

Lola & Scott have 5 children, The oldest is 28 and out on her own, but the other four range in age from 14 to 19 and are still in school. With the youngest, Allison, being in 7th grade. The 19 year old, Jordan, hoping to graduate high school in January 2023.

All proceeds will go directly to Lola to hopefully permit her peace of mind so she can concentrate on the important things, like making memories.
