How do we Start to explain, Someone's Life who is now Ending.
Margarita Pinto is my Mother-In-Law to my darling husband, David Caballero.
She is kind, sweet, genuine and has devoted her life to God. She has not had the kindest life, from being a Refugee from El Salvador, to working many difficult laboring jobs up until her diagnosis. But she has always been a Mother First.
Margarita and her son David, came into the States in the mid 80's. Since then she has been working many jobs to keep up with the expenses and high living costs California is known for having. She is both the Mother and Father for David, and as any mother would, she did everything to support and nourish Davids' well being - raising him into the Father he is today.
As years had passed, Margarita found a home for herself and David in Los Angeles, CA and there she lived until now. Her past had many dark memories that drove Margarita down to Depression, but with her son as her main priority, she had given her Dark Past to the Light of God, and since has been a devoted Christian. To this day she says that her life is in his hands, but to always remember the good over the bad.
Margarita Pinto has an Advanced - Very Aggressive Form of Colon Cancer, Stage 4. She herself and Our Small Family just found out last month. With only weeks left to live, her wish was to see her only Grandson again and to have David by her side. Unfortunate to this, Our Little Family lives here in Miami, FL due to our own financial and medical problems as well - and we are desperate for her story to be heard.
These funds and any we shall get, will go straight to her Funeral Costs and Medical Bills. Also costs for Transportation to get at least David down to see her. I was fired from my job on the first day back from my medical emergency, because of the fact I had taken 2 weeks off to recovery from Surgery. So our finances are depleted, from my own Bills and Medical Bills alone. As much as I would want to be by his side and have my son see his Grandmother one last time, it simply cannot be done.
The funds are needed as soon as possible as she only now has weeks if not days left to live. Please help with what you can and I thank you for your time, as time is the most precious thing we have. Sharing this story will help greatly, as I don't have a Facebook nor do we know many people here in Florida, as we have only been here for the last 2 years.
Please know that you will help my little family as broken as it may be, even though no amount of money can cure her, knowing that we can at least bury her with her son by her side will mean everything to Margarita Pinto.
