Another update
Jackson will meet with his radiologist 8/26 to see if radiation is needed. His oncologist is starting him on a hormone therapy that he’ll also start that day. He wants to thank everyone for the prayers, kind words, and everything that has been donated so far-he has this!!

words from Jackson.. please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Well as most of you know I was recently diagnosed with cancer….again. This is a different type of cancer than last. I have prostate cancer.

Friday I had a ct scan thinking routine and just more of a confirmation than anything. Well last night I got on my portal on could see the results. I saw some things that were concerning but didn’t want to read much into until we talked to the urologist.

Well this morning we talked the urologist. Unfortunately the cancer has spread.

Surgey is off the table now and will start chemotherapy some point soon. Waiting on a call from the oncologist and we will have a plan soon. . Just keep us in your prayers right now.

Hi, Amanda here—reaching out with a purpose.

As most of you know, our dear friend is facing cancer yet again. He beat it once, and I know he will do it again!

Whether you're here because you know him, support the cause, or simply want to help someone battling prostate cancer, thank you!!
This journey is about more than just one person. It's about every father, brother, uncle, and friend who's ever faced those difficult words: You have cancer.

This GoFundMe is to raise critical funds for Jackson’s medical bills, treatment, recovery costs, awareness, and support. Every dollar helps ease the burden and strengthens the fight.

This is the latest update:
They took a saliva sample for a genetics test, and he has a PET scan scheduled for July 18. He has to wait 5-6 weeks after the biopsy before they schedule surgery. It will be a robotic surgery, and we won’t know until that day when they start the surgery if it can be treated that way. If there is too much scar tissue from previous surgeries, it can’t be done. And he will have 28 radiation treatments, 5 days a week. If surgery can be done, it is a 4-week recovery.
I will update as I get them.

Please donate, share, and pray!
Let's fight this thing—together!

Psalm 46:1:
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

With gratitude,
Amanda
