I am trying to raise funds for a friend of mine named Mark. Mark is a good man who has lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for a number of years. Over the last year or so, he has helped me with many projects at my grandmother-in-law's property. He is a very helpful person for pretty much any job, especially carpentry and electrical work. As long as I've known Mark, he has never asked for a handout. He showed up with all his tools in the back of his 2000 Honda sedan.

A couple of months back, Mark had a heat stroke on the job and broke his tooth as a result; the tooth became infected and still causes him issues. During his hospital stay, Mark lost out on many jobs he had worked hard to obtain. Mark lives with his sister and his cat. His sister deals with many mental health issues, which have manifested themselves as hoarding and never leaving the house. Unbeknownst to Mark, the city plans to condemn his sister's house and they will both soon be homeless. Mark is asking for help only to buy himself a truck so he can work himself into success.
