For decades, JD Newman has been a steady hand and a guiding light in the recovery community. As a pillar of Alcoholics Anonymous, JD has helped countless people find their way back from the darkness of addiction with compassion, strength, and humility. At 62 years old, JD has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a life-threatening illness that has completely changed the course of his life. For nearly two years, JD has been unable to work due to his health, with no clear return in sight. The financial burden has become overwhelming — and on top of mounting medical and daily living expenses, JD is now facing the urgent need to find a new and stable living situation.
