My beloved grandmother Judy Linda Neldon passed away peacefully in her apartment on July 12, 2024. She did not have many people in her life, but I was one of them, and we spent a lovely morning and afternoon together before she passed, along with her honorary granddaughter and my long time best friend Noelle.
I am making this GoFundMe to accomplish her final request, which was to be cremated and buried beside her parents Joseph and Lina Mae at Sand Hill Cemetery in Newport, Arkansas.
My grandmother struggled to make ends meet all her life, and could not afford life insurance or any other policy to help cover expenses for her final rest, nor did she have any assets to her name.
I am asking for help on behalf of myself, who is solely responsible for her arrangements, for enough money to cover her cremation, burial, care and rehoming for her beloved chihuahua Cherry, and travel back home to Massachusetts once she is laid to rest.
