Hi Everyone, I am starting a support fund for our family members who are in need.

Crystal, Dave, Logan and Nolan need our help, love, support, and prayers more than ever.

This week, sweet little Nolan (3), youngest son of Crystal and Dave, was given a heart breaking diagnosis.

After weeks of sickness and abnormal symptoms, Nolan was sent to Sick Kids to undergo further testing. On Friday November 21st, the results came back with the diagnosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

As one can only imagine, this has come as quite a shock and a devastating realization for Dave, Crystal and big brother Logan. This is something no parent wishes they ever have to confront seeing their child so unwell.

Nolan’s team at Sick Kids are carefully planning out his treatment plan and this has begun today, November 24th and will continue this week as long as his vitals, general health and wellness allow. Things are moving quickly.

Crystal and Dave are by his side currently and are in the process of acquiring accommodations near the hospital to stay when in between Nolan’s rounds of chemo. They are required to stay near the hospital to keep a close eye on how he is doing.

Both Crystal and Dave have full time employment which they will need to spend time away from in order to ensure Nolan’s medical needs are met. At this time there is no timeline available as to how long this will play out and there are so many unknowns regarding return to work, etc.

Support for time away from work, travel, accommodations, etc. are greatly appreciated. As well as thoughts, well wishes and prayers for sweet little Nolan while they as a family, navigate the challenges ahead.
