Last Thursday night close to midnight my family (dad,step-mother,brother and sister) lost their house and pets to an electrical fire. The house burned from the basement up as they were unaware and out spending time together.
They came home to smoke and their pets trapped inside the house. Mr Edward Rivera (dad) also suffered some minor injuries as he approached the house; trying to open see about his pets.
Firemen rushed to the scene around 10pm and was able to finally o
put the fire out around 12am. The house was destroyed from the inside and their pets were deceased. They lost everything except the close in their backs.
We have been helping them as they are staying at a local hotel while we help them with food and clothing and them talking with their insurance company; trying to work things out.
The following items are what the family is truly in need of:
• clothes
•toiletries
•food
•blankets, pillows and bed sheets
