Hello! My name is Alaura, I am 21 years old, and I currently live in my van with my dog, Maggie.

On Thursday, March 31st, my van broke down. I had it towed to the shop, I had to replace both my fuel pumps (dual tanks) and my EGR valve, which cost around $1,600.
On top of that, the shop noticed my radiator and my water pump were leaking pretty severely. I went to go check it out in person, and they were correct. Coolant was basically pouring out of my vehicle.
Since I had no more to throw at my van, I called a friend, who agreed to let me borrow the funds for the repairs, totaling roughly $1,200. I authorized the repairs, and all was well.
Unfortunately, that fell through. I’ve already had the shop start the repairs, and i’m really in a bind. I live in this vehicle full time, and it’s really all I have.
Any help with my current situation is more than appreciated ❤️
