STUBBS STRONG

With sadness, I sit down to revisit this Go Fund Me account I created 64 months ago to help my Uncle Scott and his family fight his cancer diagnosis. Just a refresher, my name is Gretchen Saar, niece and Goddaughter to Scott and Martha Stubbs. Despite the heartache of his illness, I've been constantly reminded of each and every STUBBS STRONG follower’s generosity, kindness and love that has been appreciated over the years! As we’ve all been updated, his cancer has spread, and he’s continuing treatment at Brigham and Woman's/Dana Faber in Boston, MA.

I initially began this campaign to give STUBBS STRONG followers a way to aid in this fight alongside them. Any money raised was used to pay medical bills, transportation, and monetary expenses endured during his battle. Since Scott has been fighting his diagnosis, employment has been difficult. This hasn’t stopped him from being church moderator at Smith Mills Congressional Church and starting the Dartmouth United Outreach, a cause that has helped feed thousands of individuals. His heart is so prominent in his efforts to help others; therefore, I find it most important to try and find optimal ways to help send love, encouragement, faith and positive energy while continuing on this journey.

Along with my good faith, I believe it is time again to help do something extra and help monetarily by restarting his Go Fund Me account. All funds will be accessed immediately to help with transportation, medical bills they have already acquired and future ones ahead. Your help in funding this continued journey will mean so much to not only Scott but his family and friends collectively.
