On June 11th, Katie & Tristen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Adeline. Due to some birthing complications Katie ended up needing to have an emergency c-section. Being able to hold and care for your baby is something you look forward to for 9 months, and after the emergency procedure is not possible for her now for a few weeks while she recovers. She can't even get out of bed on her own without being in pain. After 5 days in the hospital they were finally able to bring Adeline home.

Less than 24 hours later and they had to return to the emergency department due to some very scary complications. Katie, already feeling helpless had to go in the ambulance alone with Adeline to get them to CHEO.

A time when they're meant to be celebrating and enjoying their new baby is now so uncertain and stressful. Our goal is to relieve some of this stress by helping with any medical costs, gas, food and for Tristen to be able to be by Adeline & Katie's side and not worry about getting back to work.
