Hi everyone -
For the past week or so, my brother & sister-in-law's 10 month old puppy, Charlie, has been in and out of his local veterinary office and hospitals with what doctors initially thought may have been pneumonia (he was lethargic, dehydrated and had fevers). After many tests, X-rays and overnight stays, Anthony and Maria are still searching for answers and Charlie is still not making any progress. Charlie quickly stole our hearts, which has made this heartbreaking to watch him struggle and even scarier as they do not have any answers as to what his illness may be....
As you can imagine, vet visits are expensive and quickly add up. Yesterday, Charlie had a procedure to draw fluid for further testing and the next step for him will be to visit with a specialist which alone will cost around $2,000. With this expense, and with what Anthony and Maria have already paid, I wanted to create this campaign to help them not have to worry about costs and to be able to get the answers they are looking for for their Charlie boy.
