Hi my name is Lisa Jones I am the eldest daughter of Ricardo Pla.

Ricardo Pla is a 68 years young Air Force Veteran and recently retired from the IRS he committed his service for the government and now our Dad was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer last year and in December of 2020 he had surgery to remove the cancer and his prostate. He started radiation/chemo treatments and was responding well. But in two and half months into treatment particulars of the cancer has come back and has spread greatly through his stomach walls. Radiation treatments are not helping anymore, and his body has taken a turn for the worst. The Doctors opinion giving his blood work and x-rays and frailty of his body, they gave him about two weeks to live, again this is God’s hands and will when it’s his time. He has covered hospice care and supplies but what is not covered is the actual boarding house where he is living. He is very coherent, still can talk and make us laugh. We wanted him to be closer to family and with continue prayers and support. We want to make sure he is as comfortable everyday he has with us

four kids and 10 grandkids.
