Sweet little Daniel was born on November 30th 2018. His parents were so happy he was here, but that joy was soon joined by worry as Daniel developed issues breathing and was discovered to have a birth defect. He  was quickly admitted to the NICU for further diagnostics and treatment at Maine Medical Center in Portsmouth. Two long months later Daniel was finally discharged only to be home for less than a week before developing more issues that resulted him being admitted into the PICU at Massachusetts General Hospital where it was found out that he has two different birth defects, Spina Bifeda and Pyriform Aperture Stenosis and will be spending more time and undergoing more tests and procedures in his young life than many experience in a lifetime. I have started this GoFundMe to help my wonderful friends cover some of the many medical bills, cost of transportation, lodging, food, and tons of time off from work. It is unknown how long Daniel will be in the PICU. Having a baby is a wonderful beautiful thing, and I would love to do everything I can to help my friend spend more time loving on her son and working toward helping him heal instead of being stressed about all the added expenses.
