Hi everyone,

I never thought I'd be writing something like this, but today my heart is heavy as I share that my boyfriend, Audeliz—who most of you know and love as Buddy—lost his home in a house fire this afternoon. Thankfully, he's okay, but the fire destroyed everything he owns. It's hard to put into words just how devastating this has been.

If you know Buddy, you know he's the kind of person who never asks for anything. He’s the first to show up when someone needs help—whether it's a simple gesture, being a helping hand or just being a listening ear. He gives without ever expecting anything in return. That’s just who he is.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him because for him the shock honestly hasn’t even had time to wear off. We’re still trying to process everything that’s happened, and it doesn’t feel real yet. That’s why I decided to start this GoFundMe—because even though we haven’t fully taken it all in, I know he’s going to need help getting through this and get back on his feet. He’s lost not just his belongings, but his sense of normalcy. Any amount you can give—no matter how small—will go directly to helping him replace essential items, and begin to rebuild.
