Hello, my name is Charlotte Wardwell I am setting up this fundraiser for the Garcia Family.

David experienced sudden cardiac death while attending his grandson's flag football game last Friday evening. He is currently in the ICU and has proved to be a miracle. However, is still fighting for his life.

David worked as a security guard at the Indio courthouse and greeted everyone with a smile and kindness. If you know David you know your always going to be in for a good chat and a laugh. He adores his seven grandchildren and spends all his spare time with them. Family was David's number one love.

The funds raised are to help with the cost of medical bills, expected rehabilitation costs and his financial commitments.

The Garcia family would like to thank the fast-acting public who administered CPR until the ambulance arrived. This was life-saving. They would also like to thank everyone who has reached out to offer help and the outpouring of prayers. The ambulance crew and knowledgeable staff at JFK hospital continue to treat David.
