I am reaching out for financial assistance and support on behalf of my mother, Donatila Soriano, who has been in the ICU for nearly two weeks due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome. This rare illness occurs when the body's immune system attacks the nerves, resulting in muscle weakness and paralysis. She is currently under the care of Blessed Family Doctors General Hospital in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines. Initially, she experienced numbness, tingling and weakness in both legs upon admission, but her breathing is now severely affected. Furthermore, she has developed pneumonia in her right mid-lower lung, leading to minimal pleural effusion, and the Doctors are now considering tracheostomy.

The expenses for her treatment have surpassed our means, and we humbly request financial assistance.
