Most of us can’t even begin to imagine the heartbreak of losing a parent, let alone the weight of walking through that pain with no support and no safety net. Sadly, this is the reality Stephenie is facing right now. Her beloved mother has only been given a few short weeks left to live after battling cancer, and instead of having the time and space to grieve, Stephenie is carrying the heavy burden of figuring out how to cover the costs of her mother’s burial.

Stephenie’s family has no savings, no life insurance, and no financial resources to turn to. On top of the emotional devastation, she’s left wondering how she will be able to give her mom the dignity of a proper goodbye. No one should have to face such an impossible choice — grieving or paying bills.

We are asking our community to rally around Stephenie in this incredibly painful time. She needs to raise $6,000 to cover burial and funeral expenses, including the cost of a coffin and related arrangements.
