Dialysis patient in CRITICAL condition in P.R.

I come to you asking for your kind help in a very difficult time in my life.

The week of January 9, I was discharged from the hospital and went under two surgeries to correct the dialysis graft I had in my arm. Subsequently, a new graft was placed in my left leg to allow me to continue receiving my dialysis treatment. While I was recovering at home the same week January 12, I received some devastating news, my oldest daughter was found dead in her home in Puerto Rico.

After arranging everything, on January 19 I traveled to Puerto Rico to attend my daughters funeral services. Unfortunately, I ended up in the hospital due to complications and now an infection in my leg.

I’ve been admitted in a local hospital in Puerto Rico since January 23, but instead of feeling better my health is deteriorating day by day. I was made aware that I’ll continue receiving antibiotics until 03/02, but even by then the doctor did not guarantee that I will survive. I need to be transported in an Air Ambulance to the state of Florida where I have lived for the last 16 years to receive the clinical treatment that I need to remove the graft from my leg as soon as possible.

I’m asking for your kind support to help me collect the financial funds I need to be transfer to Florida. I still have the desire to live and spend more time with my family, friends and specially all my grandchildren that I love dearly.

Acudo a ustedes respetuosamente para pedirle su amable ayuda en un momento muy difícil de mi vida.

La semana del 9 de enero me dieron de alta del hospital y me sometieron a dos cirugías para corregir el injerto de diálisis que tenía en el brazo. Posteriormente, se colocó un nuevo injerto en mi pierna izquierda para permitirme continuar con mi tratamiento de diálisis. Mientras me recuperaba en casa la misma semana del 12 de enero, recibí una noticia devastadora, mi hija mayor fue encontrada muerta en su casa en Puerto Rico.

Después de arreglar todo, el 19 de enero viajé a Puerto Rico para asistir a los funerales de mis hijas. Desafortunadamente, terminé en el hospital debido a complicaciones y ahora una infección en mi pierna.

Estoy ingresada en un hospital local en Puerto Rico desde el 23 de enero, pero en lugar de sentirme mejor, mi salud se deteriora día a día. Me informaron que continuaría recibiendo antibióticos hasta el 02/03, pero incluso para entonces el médico no me garantizó que sobreviviría. Necesito ser transportado en Ambulancia Aérea al estado de Florida donde he vivido los últimos 16 años para recibir el tratamiento clínico que necesito para remover el injerto de mi pierna lo antes posible.

Estoy pidiendo su amable apoyo para ayudarme a recolectar los fondos financieros que necesito para ser transferidos a Florida. Todavía tengo el deseo de vivir y pasar más tiempo con mi familia, amigos y en especial todos mis nietos que amo mucho.
