Hello, my name is Aretha Swyers, and I’m from Palm Beach County, Florida. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and I still have many family members, friends, and community connections there.

After Hurricane Melissa hit, I saw heartbreaking photos and messages from people back home who lost food, clothing, and essentials. Many families are still without power, struggling to rebuild, and in need of basic supplies.

I started this GoFundMe to raise funds for essential items like:

Non-perishable food and clean water

Baby supplies (diapers, formula, wipes)

Hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads)

Cleaning products and basic household goods

The funds collected here will be used entirely to purchase and ship these items to families in need in Jamaica. I’ll share updates and photos as donations are used to stay transparent and accountable.
