Jasper's Life Saving Surgery

I got this sweet little boy the beginning of March. Within a week, he became sick with one thing after the other. The vet treated each illness as it appeared to be with no curing of what we thought it was. We were stumped with what appeared to be UTI's beginning in May. Tests came back indicating that he did not have a UTI so we did x-rays and more blood work to see if we could figure out what was ailing little Jasper. No conclusive answers for 2 months and my kitty being in pain the entire time... Finally Monday 7/8 we did an Ultra Sound. The radiologist found 3 Bladder Stones which concerned him because that would normally only come from liver problems. Indeed this is the culprit.
Jasper has a unique birth defect called Portosystemic Shunt of the liver. This occurs In Utero with no way of knowing about it until the animal gets a little older and starts displaying the side effects (Bladder issues, extreme lethargy, excessive drooling, disorientation and neurological signs of brain dysfunction, including seizures). He started displaying the neurological side effects this week, which is not a good sign. Jasper is 8 months old and this is about the time all the side effects and symptoms start to become very apparent as his body cannot continue to support itself due to the toxins continually flowing through his blood stream.
Jasper needs 2 surgeries simultaneously to clamp the portal vein (for the liver shunt) and remove the 3 bladder stones. He is on meds this week leading up to the surgery to prepare his body for the invasive surgery to come. He is very little (also a side effect of the disease), which also adds complications to the surgery. With all this being said, the prognosis is good for a long life requiring medications and a strict diet, but a long life nonetheless after the surgery and recovery time.
I have an estimate the surgery will be between $6700-$8400. This doesn't include the CT Scan he needs before surgery that is another $2500. I need to pay for the scan and surgery at time of service, which should be late next week or early the following week. I'm waiting to hear the actual date. He will have a long recovery period, with medications, more doctor visits, more tests. All of which I have depleted my funds to pay for. I am at a loss as to what to do except this. I am here for your help...Any sort of help!
Jasper means everything to me. The unconditional love he has bestowed upon me since coming into my life is something that I cannot put a price on or describe in words.
Portosystemic Shunt
We have a very special bond that leads me to believe that I was supposed to be his person and he my kitty. To nurture him and get him through this and love each other for as long as we share this earth together.
I would be so grateful for any help. $1, $10, whatever you can spare to help me keep Jasper in my life, for without this surgery, he will die. He has the hope of a long life ahead of him with this surgery.
I thank you for your support and pray I can make this happen for him and me.
