Help build a Masjid (KHUIRATTA, AJK, PAKISTAN)

Donation protected
Our family originates from Pakistan, A.K.  Our grandparents (May Allah grant them Jannah. Ameen) built the Masjid over 50 years ago. This Masjid is used by everyone in our village. Children attend the madrasah to learn about Islam and study the Quran. In a rural village a Masjid is much more than a place of worship, it's a centre for the community. Masjids are a symbol for hope and the heart of community life.

Over the last few years, we have been to visit many times and realised the Masjid needs improvement works. The roof was leaking, walls crumbling with visible damp. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God) our family have taken the initial step to demolish the Masjid and to rebuild it from scratch. Historically the running costs of this Masjid have been maintained by the family however this is a major project which we have undertaken, and we are reaching out to all extended family members, friends, colleagues, brothers and sisters to help us fund this great project. The financial support that you will provide will help build the new Masjid, including the main prayer hall, wudhu facilities, Madrasah for children, women's prayer hall and a separate Imams living accommodation.

The month of Ramadan is coming, and we hope with Allah’s blessing and your help we can continue with this project Insha'Allah. Any help will be appreciated. No donation is too small - every penny helps!

We will be sharing updates as the project progresses Insha'Allah.

We want to thank you for your help and do dua Allah Ta'alla rewards you and blesses you and your families. Ameen

By building a Masjid, you will not only earn the rewards of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come Insha' Allah.

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)

One of the best things about Sadaqah Jariyah is that you can give on behalf of the deceased and benefit them directly without decreasing your own words. This is clearly indicated in the following hadith when a companions (ra) mother passed away and he sought the beloved Prophets (saw) advice about what to do for her:

On the authority of Sa‘d bin ’Ubadah (ra) that he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Umm (mother of) Sa‘d has died, so which charity is best?’ He [saw] replied, “Water (is best).” He said, ‘So he [ra] dug a well and said, “This (well) is for Umm Sa‘d”’. (Abu Dawud)

To help get the word out, we would appreciate it, if you could share the link across your social media platforms and further.

Jazakallah khair

By the will of Allah the project has just began (16/03/2021) Alhamdulillah.
