Hospice Help

Hello Hello, for those that do not already know me, my name is Natasha,

and I am Carol & Norman's, daughter.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help my parents during this excruciatingly difficult time.

Currently, Norman is in palliative end-of-life care at Concord Hospital. My mother and I were notified today of his timeline, and Hospice was the next best thing for him.

He will need full 24hr care until the good Lord takes him. However, the financial burden this will cause while grieving could be unbearable. I am trying to make this already excruciatingly hard time as painless as possible for her moving forward.

His medical insurance will NOT cover Hospital Hospice and requires a credit card on file with a minimum of $400 a day.

His medical insurance WILL cover 12 hours a day with HOME hospice.

This means my mom will need to hire someone to help with him the other 12 hours of the day. This means that she will also continue to be by his side without pay from work.

And I would like to say there is a 401k, stocks, and other financial plus+ coming her way, but there, unfortunately, is not.

It's one of the downfalls of being your entrepreneurial tradesman and being married to someone whose small private practice doesn't have a retirement plan either.

Due to his years of illness' what he could get for life insurance is very minimal and will cover funeral expenses at most.

My mother is too proud to ask for it herself, so I am doing it for her and truly appreciate anything you can do for them during this devastating time.
