Milo is my 5 year old ferret. This year he has had multiple health scares & issues.

Such as….

•Hairloss beginning on his tail

•Suddenly choking on his food

•Sleeping more than usual

•Weightloss

•Distended abdomen

•Partially obstructed bladder

He has gone to the vet several times in the past few months, as well as Pieper Memorial Hospital (emergency vet) just this past Saturday (12/27/25).

The hospital informed us that his bladder is partially obstructed, meaning he cannot fully empty when he pees (leading to a swollen/protruding bladder).

This issue can get very serious quickly by becoming fully obstructed (not being able to pass any urine). Which can cause a ferret great pain, while also having the risk of the bladder bursting (fatal).

Its also a result of a disease he was recently diagnosed with, Adrenal disease.

I am planning to get him an implant which helps with his disease & symptoms that can arise from it, though the implant can make the bladder issue worse at first.

I mainly need help for his bladder issue especially if it worsens. The hospital bill on top of the very frequent vet visits have my partner & I struggling.

I can save as best I can but I do not believe I can save up a realistic amount in enough time without help. Not only does this stress me out but it saddens me so heavily & makes me feel guilty that I cannot take this on fully myself. This baby deserves all the help he can get, so I’m asking you for help.

I love this sweet boy so freaking much, he’s my will to live. Milo is genuinely the sweetest, purest, most joy filled creature I’ve ever met & I am so lucky to have him in my life. He’s my baby & I am not ready to let go.

So please have it in your heart to help Milo.
