Hi, My name is Devan Frye and I'm the father of an extraordinary little boy who was recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a type of cancer. His name is Mayson and he is the coolest 4 year old I know! He has 2 parents that love him more than anything in the world and a little sister who adores everything about him, amoung countless others who think the world of him there is never enough good things to say about him. When it comes to "living the life you love" my son is the epitome of that.

 

He is funny, warmhearted, energetic, compassionate, intelligent, outspoken and all around an amazing kid. He is tough when he needs to be but does't have a problem expessing his emotions either. He loves pizza, OLIVES, veggies, all kinds of fruits and chips. Flag football is his favorite sport and he loves to go swimming any chance he gets, he is a beach bum just like me. Couldn't have asked for a better beach partner! He loves to tell you a joke just to watch you smile even if you heard the joke for third time. His favorite joke " What do you call a three humped Camel...PREGNANT! "proceeds to slap his knee", get's him every time. He and his Grand Dad will call each other just to tell eachother new and old jokes they know.

 

He and his sister share a room and have great conversations at night, which we get to listen on through the baby monitor, and the next thing you hear is her laughing about something funny Mayson was saying/doing. He brings light and laughter to everyone he meets. He so smart he can and will tell you everything about dinosaures and various other animals. He loves sharks, snakes and Dilophosaurus's (might have to google that one later). I can go on and on about how great my son is but there isnt enough space to type it out so I will finish by saying he is 1 in a million and we couldnt have asked for a better son.

 

While he goes through his chemotherapy treatment, my wife and I will be taking time out of work to care for our son during these trying times while still attempting to cover all of his upcoming medical bills, we ask for your help in succeeding towards that effort. Every little bit helps and counts to ensure our son continues to get the fighting chance he deserves at beating his disease. If you have ever met Mayson and he has touched your heart in any way I ask for your help. As he means the world to us, your help mean the world to him.
