Help Me Become an EMT

Dear friend,
I’ve always felt a strong drive to help others in need, and to that end I’ve recently made the decision to train as an emergency medical technician (EMT).
During the pandemic, like many others I witnessed firsthand the heroism of emergency first responders at the frontline of the crisis. Seeing it proved to reinforce my inner calling to make a significant difference in my community. I hope to ultimately join the ranks of a volunteer EMT company, as I believe it would be the community service I’m passionate about.
I have tentatively reserved a seat for a training class that begins in late June and runs through the end of August. I’d made some summer vacation plans earlier in the year, but I felt this was more important to me. The training will cost $1800, and I am planning to pay as much as I can out of my own wallet. However, at this time I lack a substantial amount of the cost due to my typical living and college tuition expenses.
Therefore, I am asking for you to please consider donating to my fundraiser for the EMT training course. Any amount helps, and I’m confident that your donation would be instrumental in helping me assist others in need of medical attention. I would be grateful for any contribution to this cause that I feel is essential, and I feel it would be repaid many times over by our community of first responders.
