On September 30th, I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma, a high-risk form of breast cancer. I started chemotherapy on October 22nd, which was quickly stalled due to a concern that my liver wasn’t handling the medication well. Once back on track, I was then sidelined by being admitted to the hospital for sepsis and the flu. I’m now back on track, being more careful and masking 24/7 to finish out my last 3 months of weekly chemotherapy. I will then undergo a double mastectomy followed by 35 rounds of radiation.
Cancer isn’t just physically exhausting—it’s financially crushing too. Medical bills pile up fast, and everyday expenses don’t magically disappear. This GoFundMe is here to help cover those costs so I can focus on what matters most: healing and being there for my family. I also have Zelle and Venmo @Erica-Nelson-43.
Any amount helps, and if you can’t donate, sharing this page is just as powerful. Thank you for your support!
