Hi everyone!

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the struggle to access feminine hygiene products has gotten worse for women living in shelters across the U.S. Many of these women have begun to improvise by reusing, buying cheaply made sanitary products, and even creating makeshift ones. All of these methods are not sustainable and can expose them to bacteria that could potentially cause harm to them.

My name is Ella Yuen, and I'm a first-year student at UC Davis. I first started this project when I was attending Los Altos High School. I am raising funds to purchase feminine sanitary products in bulk to distribute them to girls and women living in Bay Area shelters. 100% of the proceeds will be used for this cause. My dad is added as my beneficiary since I first started this project when I was under 18. All funds will be used to buy feminine sanitary products.
