Michael Alexander, 55, passed away suddenly at his home in Robbinsville on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
Born in Trenton, with previous residence in Florence and Mansfield Township, Mike had resided in Robbinsville for the past 18 years.
He served as a sales representative for Bob Maguire Chevrolet in Bordentown for 20 years, then for Fred Beans Auto Parts in Doylestown, PA, for 10 years, and most recently for Audi Volkswagon in Cranbury until the time of his death.
Mike attended the Springfield Township School District, and graduated from Northern Burlington High School, class of 1978. He attended Burlington County College, and graduated from the Burlington County Vocational Technical School with a degree.
He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Eagles fan. He coached and refereed soccer in Robbinsville, enjoyed listening to the Beatles and Howard Stern, and playing cards with his family and friends. Mike was also an advocate of the Children’s Christian Fund.
He is survived by his three sons, Michael C., Matthew C., and Christian Ryan Alexander all of Robbinsville; Their mother, Rose Ann Alexander of Robbinsville; his mother, Trudy Brandenburg; his father, Peter Sbiwakowski; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Michele and Eugene Lamkin, and Maria and Jon Thompson; three nephews, Harry, Benjamin, and Alex; several uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 9:00 AM. until time of services at the funeral home.
