Karen was a beautiful person, a wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and many, many more.  She touched so many lives, especially those of all her third graders that she taught over the years.  
After being diagnosed with cancer this July, Karen fought as hard as she could and remained positive throughout chemo. Seven weeks ago she entered Abington hospital because of complications and spent the remainder of her time there. During that time she remained strong and kept us laughing like she always did.  She continued to impact everyone she encountered there, especially her doctors and nurses. 
Karen earned her angel wings Saturday afternoon surrounded by family.  A heart like Karen's is one of a kind and will be remembered by everyone she met.  Our family is incredibly lucky to have had her with us and although we long for more time, we are blessed with so many memories with her.  Our lives will never be the same without her but we are thankful to have the greatest guardian angel watching over us now and forever. 

We we are so grateful for all of the love and support we have received during this time.  Karen is survived by two beautiful girls, Emily 18 and Abbey 15, and her husband Marc. This holiday season will be incredibly hard without Karen  but we will do everything we can to get through it and celebrate her life.  This campaign is to help with all of the upcoming expenses for the girls.  Please help us ensure a brighter future for them.
