Raise The Roof for Will & Molly.

Hey folks, I’m Mike McGuigan, we probably have a friend in common & they’re in need of our help.

I’ve known Will Avery for a bunch of years, as a fellow transatlantic travelling craft beer industry guy - he went from Georgia to Galway, Ireland, I went from Merseyside to The MidWest (& now back to the UK).

Unfortunately last month’s cyclonic Storm Éowyn hit Ireland very hard. It killed one man, damaged power lines, about 1 million homes were without power & many homes damaged.

In Galway record winds hit 113mph & ripped roofs off houses, including the roof of Will & Molly’s family home.

Their insurance company won’t cover the cost of repairs, as they classed the existing roof as too old to be insured. The roof repair alone is estimated to be in excess of €14,000, but sadly there is also damage to the interior of the house, with water damage to ceilings & electrical wiring.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
