Help Sarah fight B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (KMT2A Mutation)

Hi everyone,

Our beloved Sarah has been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), an aggressive blood cancer. On top of this, doctors discovered the KMT2A mutation in her leukemia cells. This genetic mutation is rare and often associated with a more difficult treatment path, higher risk of relapses, and the need for more specialized therapies. Sarah will be participating in a clinical trial through Fred Hutch. She will undergo chemotherapy, specialized targeted immunotherapy, and even a potential bone marrow transplant.

Despite this overwhelming news, Sarah continues to face each day with strength, resilience, and hope. Her treatment plan involves multiple rounds of chemotherapy, frequent hospital visits, and the possibility of a stem cell transplant in the future. The road ahead is long and uncertain, but Sarah is determined to fight for remission and recovery.
